The creation of SpaRush has a very interesting story. One of the founders had recently shifted to a locality near to work and he and his wife wanted a relaxing and rejuvenating salon service after a gruelling day of shifting. Since it was a place new to them, they went around town hunting for an appointment but being a Weekend, all the salons were packed. That's where he came with the idea of providing consumers the convenience of booking a salon appointment from the comforts of their home and when they need it the most. He shared this concept with his friends and they were totally glued into it.
There were national platforms providing these services for restaurants and movie bookings etc. but none in this industry, so they met a number of salon managers and customers to understand the viability of such an undertaking and they understood the untapped potential of this space.
With aspects like user-reviews, user-ratings and an option to list one's favourite salons in the city, it gives the user a personal feel and encourages interactivity.
